Venus Protocol Adds Tokenized U.S. Stocks as Collateral for Borrowing on BNB Chain

According to Huo Xing Finance, Venus Protocol said on June 20 that it has rolled out tokenized stock (bStocks) collateralized lending on BNB Chain. Users can deposit onchain U.S. stock assets including TSLAB, NVDAB and SPCXB into the Venus Core Pool as collateral, then borrow assets such as USDT and USDC. The setup allows users to keep exposure to stock price movements without selling their positions. The launch marks Venus's first time supporting tokenized stocks as collateral. With bStocks now live, tokenized equities formally enter the onchain liquidity market alongside BTC, ETH, BNB and stablecoins. Following earlier additions of tokenized assets such as XAUm, Venus is expanding its onchain collateral lineup to include equities, pushing further integration between RWA and DeFi.
