Strategy sells 1,690 BTC for $108.6 million, shifts treasury focus toward liquidity
Bitcoin-holding firm Strategy sold 1,690 BTC at an average price of $64,262, generating $108.6 million, and used the proceeds to repurchase about 1.15 million shares of its STRC preferred stock. The company also sold 6.59 million MSTR common shares for $653.1 million, with $650 million allocated to its U.S. dollar reserve. After the transactions, Strategy’s Bitcoin holdings fell to 840,447 BTC, acquired for an aggregate $63.36 billion at an average cost of $75,385, according to CoinDesk.

Jupiter rolls out Lend v2 on Solana, enabling borrowed assets to earn trading fees
Jupiter launched Lend v2 on Solana on August 10, adding optional Smart Collateral and Smart Debt features that let borrowed assets act as DEX liquidity and earn trading fees while in a lending position. The upgrade also introduces Lifetime PnL, which records the cumulative profit and loss for each position over its lifespan. On the same day, JupSOL had $396.0 million in total value locked and Jupiter’s perpetual futures venue held $702.6 million in open interest.

ASX lithium stocks rebound as Liontown leads rally, testing whether the upturn can hold
Liontown Resources sold 108,489 dry metric tonnes of spodumene concentrate in the June quarter at an average realised price of US$1,880 per tonne, lifting sales revenue 19.3% quarter on quarter to $235 million. South32 shares climbed 2.6% on Monday to A$5.09, marking a 10-year high. The stock is up about 30% over the past month, 43% year to date in 2026 and 72% over the past 12 months. In July, the miner reported FY26 production results that beat several guidance targets, with stronger output across key operations. Centuria Industrial REIT reported full-year results, with Funds From Operations (FFO) rising 4% to $114.1 million, or 18.2 cents per unit. Distributions were 16.8 cents per unit, in line with FY26 guidance, while net tangible assets increased to $4.01 per unit and like-for-like net operating income grew 5.2%. The REIT completed $200 million of asset sales at an average 17% premium to book value and reported 95.2% portfolio occupancy with a 7.0-year WALE. ASX-listed Chrysos Corporation (C79) reported record results for FY26, with revenue, EBITDA and sample throughput all reaching new highs. SharpLink reports $1.08B six-month net loss as $1.7B Ethereum treasury may take 90 days to fully convert to cash
Ethereum treasury company SharpLink reported a $1.08 billion net loss for the six months ended June 30, driven largely by noncash, price-related accounting charges. The filing attributed $827.7 million of the loss to an unrealized decline in ETH and $267.8 million to impairments of LsETH and weETH. The loss was 934.3% higher than the roughly $104.4 million recorded a year earlier. As of June 30, SharpLink held $56.2 million in cash while its roughly $1.7 billion Ethereum treasury could take about 90 days to fully convert into cash.
