Nakamoto sold 600 BTC to cut debt but still faces a 60 million USDT maturity on Dec. 4
Nakamoto, the parent company of Bitcoin Magazine, reported holding 4,467 BTC valued at about $261.5 million as of June 30, with 3,805 BTC pledged to Kraken as collateral for a Bitcoin-backed credit facility. That left 662 unencumbered BTC worth roughly $38.7 million, alongside $19.1 million in cash. The company has 60 million USDT due on Dec. 4 and another 105 million USDT tranche that matures in June 2027. After selling about 600 BTC for 35.6 million USDT in June and using 45 million USDT to pay down the facility, its free reserves remain tight relative to the year-end obligation, according to its second-quarter regulatory filings.
