The Adjustment Factor is designed to prevent users from liquidation and represents the proportion of the remaining margin to the initial margin required to maintain the position. For example, if the adjustment factor is set at 10%, it means that the position will be forced liquidated when the remaining margin decreases to 10% of the initial margin. The lower the adjustment factor, the less likely it is to trigger forced liquidation. On the contrary, the higher the adjustment factor, the more likely it is to trigger forced liquidation. Therefore, it is recommended to choose leverage wisely and control trading risks when trading stock assets.
