What is StarkNet?
StarkNet is a Layer 2 solution designed to enhance scalability of Ethereum. By optimizing the computational process, StarkNet offers higher transaction speeds and reduced network fees while maintaining the security of Ethereum's first layer. It achieves this by shifting from intensive L1 computations to more efficient L1 verification using off-chain STARK proofs. At its core, StarkNet operates as a permissionless rollup solution, supporting a wide range of computations. The cryptographic strength and scalability are ensured through STARK proofs. Furthermore, the primary programming language for StarkNet is Cairo, designed specifically for creating STARK proofs.
StarkNet Tokens Deposit and Withdrawal Parameters (taking ETH as an example):
Min. amount for a single deposit: 0.002 ETH
Min. amount for a single withdrawal: 0.002 ETH (with 0.001 ETH as service fee)
Max. withdrawal:
1) For KYC unverified users: 50,000 USDT daily.
2) For KYC verified users: 5,000,000 USDT daily.
Deposit of ETH is considered received with confirmation by 15 blocks on the network. ETH can be withdrawn after confirmation by 15 blocks.
