What is Eclipse?
Eclipse is Ethereum's fastest Layer 2 (L2) solution, powered by the Solana Virtual Machine. This new architecture is intended to allow the next generation of decentralized applications (dApps), which were previously limited by throughput on other platforms.
Eclipse aims to overcome these limitations by offering unmatched speeds, superior security, and scalability. Its unique blend of Ethereum's robust security properties and the high throughput capabilities of the Solana Virtual Machine makes Eclipse a powerful platform for developers looking to build high-performance applications.
Eclipse boasts a powerful combination of features designed to empower developers and cater to demanding applications. Its lightning-fast processing times, enabled by its unmatched speed, make it ideal for real-time applications like gaming platforms, financial services, and communication tools. Leveraging the robust security of Ethereum, Eclipse fosters trust by ensuring transactions and smart contracts run in a secure and verifiable environment. Furthermore, Eclipse's composability allows seamless integration between applications, enabling developers to construct intricate dApps with interoperable components. This combination of scalability and verifiability empowers Eclipse to handle a growing user base and transaction volume while maintaining transparency and auditability, ensuring the integrity of the blockchain.
Eclipse is set to revolutionize the web3 space by removing barriers to throughput, enabling the creation of sophisticated dApps that were once thought impossible. By combining the strengths of Ethereum and Solana, Eclipse provides a future-proof platform that empowers developers to innovate and build the applications of tomorrow.

Eclipse Fundraising Info
On September 27, 2022, Eclipse raised $9 million in a seed round of funding from a group of investors led by Tribe Capital and Tabiya, followed by Infinity Ventures Crypto, Soma Capital, Struck Crypto, and CoinList. Eclipse broke the record by raising a total of $65 million over the succeeding pre-seed and Series A fundraising rounds. These funding rounds will help launch the mainnet in the second quarter of 2024. Following the introduction of its mainnet, the firm announced plans to support hackathons and accelerators, as well as conduct community events for its users.
Eclipse Airdrop
Eclipse is well-positioned to continue its lead in blockchain infrastructure thanks to a prospective airdrop and incentives program. With the increase in financing, Eclipse makes it simple to participate in creative projects and receive prizes, as long as users follow step-by-step instructions and track task updates and statuses to become one of the prospective recipients of the Eclipse Airdrop. Users can access the Eclipse Testnet and obtain the file build-extension_v0.4.2-alpha.zip. Eclipse's prospective airdrop system has yet to be announced.
