Solana (SOL) has logged a golden cross on the hourly chart as the token pushed back above $90 and retested the $91 area. The price dipped to $89.47 before rebounding, and at the time of writing SOL was at $91.71, up 2.58% over the past 24 hours. Trading volume also rose 10.55% in the same period to $4.4 billion, while RSI was reported at 68.07, near overbought levels.

Bitcoin spot ETFs started the week back in positive territory, posting a $167.23 million net inflow after three straight days of redemptions. IBIT led with $160.81 million and FBTC added $41.70 million, while ether ETFs logged a fourth consecutive outflow day of $16.18 million and XRP and Solana ETF segments showed zero flows.

The Solana Foundation released a report on Monday describing a "full-spectrum" privacy framework that lets enterprises adjust what data is visible while aiming to keep performance and compliance intact. The model spans pseudonymity, confidentiality, anonymity, and fully private designs, with options such as auditor keys for legally required access. In market trading, SOL was at $91.83 at press time with $5 billion in 24-hour volume, up 1.10% on the day and down 2.18% over the week.

Solana rebounded after holding support near $86, pushing the price back to around $91 and putting the $93–$95 reaction zone and $96 resistance in focus. Analysts say rejection in the $93–$95 area could send $SOL back toward $88–$90 or even $86, while a clean break above $95 may open room toward $98 and potentially $100.

Digital asset investment products recorded $230m in net inflows last week after early buying was followed by midweek selling pressure. Bitcoin accounted for $219m of the total, while Ethereum posted $27.5m in outflows and Solana added $17m for a seventh straight week. SOL traded at $91.61 at press time, with traders watching the $95 resistance and $78 support for a potential breakout.

Bitcoin slid from above $70,000 to as low as $67,360 amid renewed Middle East tensions, then rebounded to around $68,000. Even with more than $240 million in liquidations, attention has shifted toward Bitcoin-focused infrastructure plays, including Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER), which says its presale has topped $32 million.

CoinShares reported that institutional crypto products recorded $230 million of net inflows over the week, following a burst to $635 million in the first two days. After the FOMC meeting, flows swung to $405 million of outflows before easing by Friday, while Bitcoin led with $219 million and Ethereum posted $27.5 million in outflows.

Spot gold fell through key support and traded around $4,435, down 1.3% over 24 hours, as the article says roughly $1.5 trillion in bullion market value was erased in about three hours. The analysis flags $80 as a key support level, with $93, $96 and $105 marked as nearby resistance if momentum returns. It also highlights a possible move toward $59–64 if $80 breaks, alongside speculation that attention is shifting toward the Maxi Doge ($MAXI) presale.

On March 17, 2026, the SEC and the CFTC jointly issued a 68-page interpretive document saying Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP and 12 other major tokens are digital commodities rather than securities. The document also states that four main staking models and no-consideration airdrops are no longer treated as securities transactions, shifting primary oversight for the covered assets to the CFTC.
