Analyst Sherlock says BTC's $76,000 peak was a deviation, eyes $53,000 next
DeFi researcher and market analyst Sherlock said Bitcoin's push to about $76,000 last week was a short-lived deviation rather than a durable breakout, and he continues to point to roughly $53,000 as the next downside area. He added that the weekly candle could confirm the move if it closes below $72,500, while BTC was trading around $68,100 after a steep one-day drop and ongoing weakness.

Bitcoin stalls near $70K as futures and options data show limited bullish appetite
Bitcoin jumped 4% within minutes after US President Donald Trump said he aimed to temporarily de-escalate the Iran conflict and seek negotiations, but derivatives data still showed traders avoiding aggressive long exposure. On Monday, BTC’s 2-month futures annualized premium sat near 2% versus spot and Deribit pricing implied about a 20% chance of $80,000 by April 24, suggesting skepticism around the $68,000 area.

Ali Martinez flags Oct. 6–16, 2026 as a "golden entry" window for Bitcoin's next cycle
Analyst Ali Martinez says Bitcoin's historical four-year rhythm could set up a "golden entry" period between October 6 and October 16, 2026. He argues an on-chain fractal suggests a "final discount" phase and outlines potential buy zones at $41,500 to $45,000 versus around $70,800 at the time of his post.
