Gold prices in Delhi jumped ₹4,800 to ₹1,46,600 per 10 grams, while silver surged ₹9,000 to ₹1.93 lakh per kg on November 4. Festive demand, a weaker US dollar and a global bullion rally supported the recovery, with international gold rising 3% and silver gaining 4.5%.

Multi Commodity Exchange of India posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 455 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, marking a 130.8 per cent growth compared to the same period last year.

Revenue rose 112% year-on-year to 20.86亿 rupees. EBITDA increased 167%. The order book stood at 271.1亿 rupees.

Granules India reported a 39 percent jump in net profit at Rs 181.8 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2026, driven by higher operational revenue. The company also announced a net cash position of Rs 828 crore at the end of the quarter.

Second-quarter revenue was ₹3.62 trillion, up 28%. Net profit rose 34% to ₹295.5 billion. Both figures were quarterly records.

Revenue rose 23.1% year on year to ₹390.08 crore. Earnings per share increased to ₹10.27.

GHCL reported an 11% increase in revenue to ₹8.21 billion for the quarter. EBIDTA rose 16%. Vacuum salt has started commercial production. Bromine began commercial production after the quarter closed.

NTPC's consolidated net profit for the second quarter was ₹73,507.9 crore, up 40.69% year on year. The company also declared an interim dividend.

Revenue reached ₹985.15 crore, up 29.61% year on year. Earnings per share stood at ₹15.77.
