Dear BingX Users:

To optimize account management efficiency and enhance fund transparency, the platform completed an account system upgrade in May 2025, separating spot trading funds into a dedicated Spot Account.
To ensure a smooth transition for users, temporary compatibility is maintained for users on older app versions and OpenAPI, allowing both the Fund Account and Spot Account to be used for spot trading during this period.
To create a more unified trading experience, the platform will, starting from 2025-10-16 at 15:00 (UTC+8), gradually enforce the switch to the new account system. After this time, the Fund Account balance can no longer be used for spot trading. Details are as follows:

I. Scope of Impact

  1. Isolation of Spot Trading Funds
  • Only the balance in the Spot Account can be used for spot trading. The Fund Account balance will no longer be available for spot trades.
  • To perform spot trades, users must transfer funds to their Spot Account in advance (Transfer Path: Assets → Fund Account → Transfer).
  1. For users trading spot with OpenAPI
  • The asset query API does not require adjustments. After the upgrade, the API (/openApi/spot/v1/account/balance) will no longer support querying the total assets of both Spot and Fund Accounts—it will only support querying Spot Account assets.
  • If your funds for Spot trading are still in your Fund Account, please use the asset transfer API (/openApi/api/asset/v1/transfer) to move funds into your Spot Account, ensuring a sufficient balance for scenarios including spot trading and spot trigger orders. For more details, refer to the latest API documentation.
  • It is recommended to deposit directly to your Spot Account. When on the deposit page, switch the "Receiving Account" to "Spot Account". The deposited funds will be credited to the Spot Account automatically.
  1. Handling of Existing Trigger Orders
  • If you have existing spot trigger orders, please note that they will not automatically use assets from your Fund Account upon triggering. You must transfer sufficient funds from your Funding Account to your Spot Account before the switch. Otherwise, these orders may fail upon triggering due to insufficient balance.
