To further improve the stability and fairness of TradFi trading and reduce potential risks to the trading system and user assets caused by extreme market conditions, BingX provides an overall explanation of the TradFi trading risk control rules. Please read the following content carefully and plan your trades accordingly before participating.

1. Pre-Close Trading Restriction

To protect trading fairness and system stability, when TradFi instruments approach opening or closing periods (within 30 minutes after Monday open / within 30 minutes before close from Tuesday to the second-to-last trading day of the week / within 180 minutes before close on the last trading day of the week), the platform will restrict certain trading behaviors. We recommend that you plan your trading strategy and position allocation in advance.

- Opening long and short positions simultaneously will be prohibited before market close 

- Before market close, the system may dynamically adjust the maximum available leverage for newly opened positions

- Before and during market close, TradFi position holders can only increase position margin or maintain the current position margin level; reducing position margin is not supported.

The above adjustments apply only to new positions. Existing positions are not affected.

2. Leverage Adjustments During Major Macroeconomic Data Releases and Events

During major macroeconomic data releases or events (for example, interest rate decisions, nonfarm payrolls, etc.), financial market volatility often increases significantly in a short period, which may cause rapid and large price movements accompanied by changes in liquidity.

To effectively control trading risk under extreme market conditions, BingX may, during the relevant time window:

Lower the maximum available leverage for some TradFi instruments and dynamically restore original leverage levels based on market liquidity and volatility 

Please pay attention to the release times of relevant data and events in advance and arrange margin and positions appropriately to reduce potential risks from severe market volatility.

3. Definition of Abnormal Trading Behavior and Risk Control Cases

To maintain market fairness and trading order, BingX strictly prohibits any behavior that uses system mechanisms, gaps in market liquidity, or technical means to conduct abnormal trading or obtain improper gains.

The platform will continuously monitor trading behavior patterns. If the platform identifies trading patterns that undermine market fairness or affect normal market liquidity, it reserves the right to impose risk control restrictions as appropriate.

Abnormal trading behaviors include but are not limited to the following:

- Using extreme leverage to establish abnormal positions within a short period 

- Coordinated trading between related accounts to influence market price or trading order 

- Affecting market price or misleading other users through wash trades, fake orders, or similar methods 

- Exploiting system or network latency to gain abnormal execution advantages during rapid price changes 

- Concentrated trading immediately before or after opening, closing, or system maintenance periods to profit from short-term volatility 

- Frequently executing short-term trades during low liquidity or abnormal volatility to obtain abnormal returns

- Other trading behaviors identified as abnormal or undermining market fairness

For clarity, below are examples of trading behaviors that may trigger a platform risk control review or trading restrictions (these examples are for illustration only and are not exhaustive):

- Open short-term positions around times when price jumps may occur, such as at market open, when weekend market closures end, or during trading session switches, and quickly close positions to take profit after rapid price moves. 

- Engage in abnormal trading within a very short period before or after the release of major economic data or sudden market events by frequently placing and canceling orders or repeatedly opening and closing positions to exploit momentary market volatility. 

- Open both long and short positions on the same trading instrument or highly correlated instruments within a short period, and repeatedly open and close positions to obtain abnormal trading gains. 

- Deliberately choose trading periods with lower market liquidity (such as market open or market closure) and carry out ultra-short-term frequent trading when market depth is thin or liquidity is weak. 

- Use network conditions, server deployment, or technical means to enable orders to consistently obtain abnormally favorable executions during rapid price changes, thereby generating stable yet abnormal short-cycle trading gains 

- Exhibit clear automated high-frequency trading characteristics by placing, canceling, or opening and closing large numbers of orders in an extremely short time, producing many invalid orders and possibly affecting trading system stability. 

- Attempt to affect market price formation or mislead market trading activity through multi-account wash trading or similar methods

4. Abnormal Trading Monitoring and Handling

To maintain orderly trading on the platform and protect the trading environment for regular users, BingX will continuously monitor potentially abnormal or malicious trading behavior.

If the platform identifies trading behavior that violates platform rules or maliciously exploits system mechanisms, the platform will initiate risk control measures based on the actual situation, including but not limited to:

- Deduct abnormal profits 

- Restrict some or all trading privileges 

- Suspend related account functions 

- Ban the account 

Specific handling measures will be determined based on the actual situation.

5. Additional Info

In TradFi markets, price volatility and liquidity can change rapidly during market open, market closure, and major event releases. BingX will continue to optimize related risk-control mechanisms to reduce system and trading risks while safeguarding market liquidity.

Before trading, please fully understand the characteristics of the relevant products, reasonably control leverage and position size, and pay attention to market volatility risks.
