Path: Manage My Subscriptions Select a subscription (each subscription can be configured independently)
1. Copy Mode (My Subscriptions - Strategy)
When creating a subscription, you need to select a lot size calculation method. Below are explanations of each mode and its applicable scenarios:
Mode 1: Fixed
- Advantages: The simplest and most intuitive option, independent of the trader's account size.
- Suitable for: Users who know exactly how much fixed risk they want to take on per trade.
- Note: When the trader's position size changes, your risk ratio changes accordingly.
Mode 2: Autoscale
Copied lots = trader's lots × (your account balance/equity ÷ trader's account balance/equity) × ratio multiplier
- Advantages: Automatically scales based on the ratio of both account sizes, and dynamically adjusts as account balances change.
- Suitable for: Users who want to maintain a risk exposure ratio similar to the trader's.
- Ratio multiplier: Defaults to 1.0. Setting it to 0.5 means only copying relative risk based on half of the trader's lots.
2. Risk Management (My Subscriptions - Profit - Risk Management)
Each subscription can independently set three risk control parameters. Once triggered, the system automatically executes the specified action:
| Parameter | Trigger Condition |
| Floating Loss | The current floating loss of this subscription's copied positions reaches the set amount |
| Total Loss | This subscription's cumulative realized loss (may include floating loss, depending on platform settings) reaches the set amount |
| Total Profit | This subscription's cumulative profit reaches the set amount |
Actions that can be executed once triggered:
| Trigger Action | Description |
| Close All | Immediately closes all copy positions under this subscription |
| Close All Unprofitable | Closes only loss positions while keeping profitable positions open |
| Close Unprofitable | Closes positions one by one, starting with the largest loss, until the floating loss drops below the threshold |
| Keep All | Keeps all positions open with no closing action taken |
- Keep subscription (Keep): Keeps the subscription active and waits for manual reconfiguration.
- Suspend subscription (Suspend): Stops receiving new positions but keeps closing synchronization for existing positions.
- Unsubscribe: Terminates the subscription and settles fees.
Important Notes
Risk control checks run approximately every 2 minutes, not on a tick-by-tick real-time basis. In extreme market conditions, the actual loss amount at the time of triggering may exceed the threshold you set.Subscription risk control is calculated at the subscription level. If your MT5 account has multiple subscriptions at the same time, all subscriptions share the same account balance and margin. Subscription risk control cannot replace the MT5 account's own margin level and stop out mechanisms.
Risk Control Recommendations
- Floating loss threshold: We recommend setting to "Close Unprofitable + Suspend" after triggering to control losses first, then reassess whether to resume once the market stabilizes.
- Cumulative loss threshold: We recommend setting to "Close All + Unsubscribe" after triggering as a hard stop loss.
- Cumulative profit threshold: Set based on your personal strategy, and suspend or keep the subscription once the target is reached.
Set the specific values based on your own assessment of your account size, the maximum acceptable loss ratio for the strategy, and the historical volatility characteristics of the trader's strategy.
