The proposal would amend Equity 1, Section 1(a)(15) to allow issuers to use Nasdaq's optional Initial ETP Open process on launch day, modeled on the IPO-style trading halt framework used to manage price discovery. On the same day, the SEC separately approved NYSE's parallel rule for Class ETF Shares, enabling generic listing and trading of the new product category. The filings build on generic listing standards approved in late 2025 that reduced the crypto ETP approval timeline from months to as little as 60–75 days. The developments come as crypto ETF launches pick up speed. Shareholders of Brera Holdings (NASDAQ: SLMT) on Monday approved a corporate rebrand to Solmate Infrastructure, finalizing the company's shift toward institutional-grade Solana infrastructure based in Abu Dhabi. The proposal passed with 47.1 million shares voting in favor and 7.4 million against. The move follows a $300 million oversubscribed PIPE backed by the Solana Foundation, ARK Invest and UAE-based investors via the Pulsar Group.
