About MemeCore (M)

What Is MemeCore (M) and How Does It Work?

MemeCore (ticker: M) is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain built specifically for “Meme 2.0," a new paradigm that turns internet virality into lasting cultural and economic value by rewarding creators, amplifiers, validators and stakers in a single unified ecosystem. It secures its network via a novel Proof of Meme consensus mechanism: users delegate their existing meme coins to validators across multiple chains, enhancing security through cross-staking while earning dual block rewards in native M tokens.

Each new block mints M tokens, which serve as the currency for transaction fees, staking, delegation and governance, aligning every stakeholder around shared prosperity and sustainable growth.

How Does MemeCore’s Proof of Meme Cross-Staking Mechanism Work?

Proof of Meme (PoM) is built around a multi-chain “cross-staking” model that lets holders of any integrated MRC-20 meme coin delegate their tokens to a shared validator set, securing the network while earning dual block rewards. Here’s how it works:

1. Cross-Chain Delegation: You stake your existing meme coins (e.g., MEME, DOGE, etc.) via the PoM delegation contract on any supported chain. Behind the scenes, these tokens are bridged into MemeCore’s PoM system, pooling security from multiple ecosystems into a single validator set.

2. Epoch-Based Block Production: Validators produce blocks in fixed intervals (epochs) using a PoA-style method. At the end of each epoch, the delegation contract refreshes the validator roster based on on-chain governance decisions.

3. Dual Reward Distribution

- M Token Rewards: Every new block mints native M tokens. A share goes to validators for block production, and the rest is split among delegators in proportion to their staked meme-coin value.

- MRC-20 Token Rewards: Validators also receive a portion of the staked MRC-20 tokens as a second reward stream, delegators share these too, so you earn both M and the underlying meme coin you staked.

4. Viral Grants & Sustainability: 10% of all block rewards flow into a Viral Grants Reserve. Meme projects that hit on-chain milestones (TVL, volume, engagement) can draw from this reserve to fund growth, aligning incentives between creators, communities, and validators.

By combining cross-chain staking, dual incentives, and growth-driven grants, PoM transforms fleeting viral memes into a self-reinforcing ecosystem, securing the chain, rewarding participants, and funding the next wave of meme innovation.

When Was MemeCore Launched?

MemeCore was conceived in mid-2024 by Finn (Co-Founder) and a small team of meme-coin and blockchain veterans under the MemeCore Foundation, aiming to turn fleeting viral tokens into sustainable cultural assets. After several private testnets throughout Q4 2024, the public mainnet officially went live on February 12, 2025, marking the network’s transition into live “Meme 2.0” operations. In January 2025, Jun was appointed CEO to drive innovation and ecosystem growth on the new Layer 1 platform.

What Are the Main Use Cases of M Token?

M tokens power every aspect of the MemeCore ecosystem. They’re used to pay transaction (gas) fees, stake and delegate via Proof of Meme for dual $M + ERC-20 rewards, vote on on-chain governance proposals, and funnel a portion of block rewards into the Viral Grants Reserve to fund new meme-coin projects.

You can also buy and sell $M directly on BingX’s spot market through popular trading pairs like M/USDT.

What Is MemeCore Tokenomics?

MemeCore’s native $M token follows a capped-supply, incentive-driven model designed to align all ecosystem participants, from users and validators to founders and investors, around long-term growth. MemeCore has a max supply of 10,000,000,000 M tokens.

$M Token Allocation

1. Community (58%) – Incentives, liquidity mining, governance rewards to activate and grow the network.

2. Foundation (15%) – Long-term ecosystem development, strategic partnerships, and core infrastructure funding.

3. Core Contributors (13%) – Early team members, developers, and advisors rewarded for building and securing the chain.

4. Investors (12%) – Strategic backers and venture partners who supported MemeCore’s launch.

5. Meme Treasury (2%) – Reserve for community events, creator grants, and ecosystem-wide initiatives.

All non-community allocations (Foundation, Contributors, Investors, Treasury) vest over a two-year period with a 6-month cliff to ensure ongoing alignment.

How to Stake M Tokens and Earn Rewards on MemeCore

Here’s how you can stake your $M tokens on MemeCore and start earning both $M and ERC‑20 rewards via Proof of Meme:

1. Connect Your Wallet & Open the Staking UI: Add the MemeCore Mainnet RPC to your Web3 wallet (e.g. MetaMask), then go to the official MemeCore staking portal.

2. Select a Validator & Amount to Delegate: In the “Stake $M” section, pick any active validator (the top 7 by staked volume) or a candidate you trust. Enter how many $M you want to delegate (minimum 7 million $M for validator registration; any smaller amount works for ordinary delegators).

3. Approve & Submit the Delegation Transaction: Confirm the delegation in your wallet. You’ll pay a small gas fee (partially burned to support deflation), and the staking contract will issue you an X$M token as proof of your stake.

4. Earn Dual Rewards Every Epoch

- $M Rewards (75%): Shared proportionally among all $M stakers.

- Meme‑Coin Rewards (24%): If you’d staked approved MRC‑20 memes instead, you’d similarly share in those token rewards.

- Block Bonus (1%): Goes to the block‑producing validator and its delegators.

5. Claim Your Accumulated Rewards: You can claim at any time by clicking “Claim Rewards” in the UI or calling withdraw(0) on the Reward Distribution Contract. Note: a 10% commission on your rewards is paid to the validator you supported.

6. Undelegate When You’re Ready: To unstake, hit “Undelegate” in the portal. After the short unbonding period, your principal plus any unclaimed rewards can be withdrawn back to your wallet.

Is MemeCore Audited and Safe to Use?

MemeCore has been vetted by Web3’s leading auditor CertiK. Its smart contracts received a full code audit (delivered October 18, 2024) and all identified issues (including one major finding) have been resolved, earning a CertiK Skynet Score of 79.34 (Grade A) and demonstrating a strong security posture. On top of this, MemeCore maintains an active bug-bounty program and real-time on-chain monitoring to catch new vulnerabilities early. While no critical risks remain open, always exercise best practices - keep your wallet software updated, consider hardware-wallet storage for large balances, and review on-chain governance proposals before staking.

What Blockchain Network Does MemeCore Operate on?

MemeCore runs on its own EVM-compatible Layer 1 mainnet, meaning it fully supports the Ethereum Virtual Machine and all standard tooling (wallets, smart contracts, developer SDKs) out of the box. Under the hood, the network is secured by its custom Proof of Meme consensus mechanism, which aggregates security via cross-staking of MRC-20 meme coins into a shared validator set, bridging multiple chains into a single, high-throughput mainnet.

Which Wallets Support M Tokens?

You have several secure options for storing and interacting with $M tokens. First and foremost, you can hold your $M directly in your BingX Wallet, where tokens benefit from enterprise-grade custody, 24/7 monitoring, and instant access to spot trading pairs like M/USDT.

Beyond BingX, you can store and manage $M in any EVM-compatible wallet: simply add MemeCore’s Mainnet RPC in MetaMask (desktop or mobile) and import the $M contract to view balances and send transactions; likewise, Trust Wallet and Phantom Wallet both let you add custom networks .Just input the MemeCore details and search for $M or add it via its contract address; for enhanced security, you can pair a hardware wallet (Ledger or Trezor) with MetaMask or Ledger Live’s custom RPC to keep your private keys offline while still accessing $M staking and DeFi apps.

What Are the Network and Transaction Fees for Transferring $M Tokens?

Transaction fees on MemeCore follow an EIP-1559 model, with a base fee currently averaging around 1,500 Gwei and typical transfers consuming about 39,000 gas, resulting in an average cost of 0.058 M per transaction (≈0.000058 M more or less depending on congestion). A portion of each fee is burned to support deflationary pressure, while the remainder is funneled into the Proof of Meme reward pools and validator tips, helping secure the network and reward active contributors.
