Click the Redeem button on the voucher. A 'Confirm Redemption' pop-up appears based on the voucher’s designated business type.
When the voucher is designated for Perpetual Futures, the Perpetual Futures Account will receive the redeemed Trial Funds.
When the voucher is designated for Standard Futures, the Standard Futures Account will receive the redeemed Trial Funds.
When the voucher is designated for Futures, it is up to users to decide which account will receive the Trial Funds, either Perpetual Futures Account or Standard Futures Account.
-
Redemption Threshold
As Trial Funds are normally used alongside users' own assets, the system will verify users' own assets in the Futures Account when users initiate a redemption request. Redemption is only possible when the user's own asset balance equals to or is greater than the redemption threshold specified on the voucher.
* Users' own assets = account asset balance - Trial Fund balance
- Redemption Restrictions
To ensure the actual deduction of trial funds matches the offset ratio of the voucher, you must meet requirements on the trial fund balance and the offset ratio before redeeming your voucher. Details are as follows:
ScenariosRequirementsRedeemableNo old Trial Fund balances.User has old Trial Fund balances with the same Offset Ratio as the new Trial Fund.Redeemable. Users are required to manually confirm the removal of the old Trial Fund balances.User has old Trial Fund balances with a different Offset Ratio as the new Trial Fund. However, there are no open positions or pending orders using the old Trial Fund. Not redeemableUser has old Trial Fund balances with a different Offset Ratio as the new Trial Fund. However, there are open positions or pending orders using the old Trial Fund.Example: User A receives and redeems Trial Fund Voucher 1 with a face value of 100 USDT and an offset ratio of 20%. Later, User A receives Trial Fund Voucher 2 with a face value of 5 USDT and an offset ratio of 50%. In this case, User A must use up or reclaim the Trial Funds from voucher 1 before redeeming voucher 2. -

Usage Instructions
Trial Funds can be used as trading principal.
Trial Funds can be used to offset position losses at closing when the cumulative PnL after claiming the Trial Funds is negative (cumulative PnL can be calculated for up to the past three months).
If the user's cumulative realized PnL after receiving the Trial Fund is sufficient to cover the current loss, the Trial Fund will not be used for offsetting.
If the cumulative realized PnL after receiving the Trial Fund is insufficient to cover the current loss, the loss will be offset according to the Trial Fund's offset ratio; only the remaining loss amount after deducting the profit portion will be eligible for offset. If you redeem multiple Trial Funds, your cumulative PnL will be calculated based on the time of your most recent redemption.
*Realized PnL = Closed PnL + funding rate
Trial Funds can be used to offset Guaranteed Price fees.
Trial Funds can be used to offset funding fees when the funding fee is negative.
When offsetting fees, Trial Funds and the user's own funds will be deducted proportionally; if the Trial Fund is insufficient, the user's own funds will cover the shortfall, and vice versa.
Trial Funds cannot be used to offset trading fees.
Deduction details can be viewed in [Transaction History]
Withdrawing assets or transferring funds out of the current account will cause the remaining Trial Funds in the current account to be removed.
It's prohibited to use Trial Funds for matched orders, self-dealing, and reversing positions. If any of the above malicious behavior or attempts to reap the Trial Fund are found, the platform has the right to take corresponding actions against the accounts involved.
Example 1: Assume that User A's Guaranteed SL order is filled with a trading fee of 10 USDT, GTD Price fee of 10 USDT, and realized loss of 100 USDT. User A's own assets available in the Perpetual Futures Account is 100 USDT, in addition to Trial Funds of 30 USDT with an offset ratio of 30%. Deduction details: 1. Trading fee - 10 USDT: 10 USDT of User A's own assets is deducted. 2. GTD Price fee - 10 USDT: The system deducts 7 USDT of the user's own assets plus 3 USDT Trial Fund. 3. Realized loss - 100 USDT: The remaining Trial Fund is 27 USDT, which is less than 100 USDT * 30% = 30 USDT; in this case, the system deducts all the remaining Trial Funds and 73 USDT of the user's own assets.Example 2: Assume that User A's order is liquidated with a trading fee of 5 USDT and a realized loss of 200 USDT. User A's own assets available in the Perpetual Futures Account is 177 USDT, in addition to Trial Funds of 30 USDT with an offset ratio of 10%. Deduction details: 1. Trading fee - 5 USDT: 5 USDT of User A's own assets is deducted. 2. Forced liquidation - 200 USDT: Deducting 200 * 0.1 = 20 USDT of Trial Funds first. Since the remaining assets are less than 200 USDT * 90% = 180 USDT; in this case, the system deducts all the remaining assets of 172 USDT and 8 USDT Trial Funds. The total Trial Funds deducted are 28 USDT.Example 3: Trial Fund Claim Time: User A claimed and redeemed 50 USDT in Trial Funds on 2025-04-10, with an offset ratio of 50%.User trading PnL:On April 11, User A conducted the first futures trade, which generated a profit of 100 USDT.On April 12, User A conducted the second futures trade, which generated a loss of 110 USDT.
Deduction explanation:Since the first trade earned 100 USDT and the second trade lost 110 USDT, the realized PnL after redeeming the Trial Fund is: 100 - 110 = -10 USDT.If the cumulative realized PnL after receiving the Trial Fund is insufficient to cover the current loss, the loss will be offset based on the Trial Fund's offset ratio. As the offset ratio is 50%, the offset amount will be: 10 * 50% = 5 USDT (the 5 USDT loss will be covered by the Trial Fund).Example 4: Trial Fund claim time: User B claimed and redeemed a 50 USDT in Trial Funds on 2025-04-10, with an offset ratio of 50%.User trading PnL:On April 11, User B conducted the first futures trade, which generated a profit of 100 USDT.On April 12, User B conducted the second futures trade, which generated a loss of 80 USDT.
Deduction explanation:Since the first trade earned 100 USDT and the second trade lost 80 USDT, the realized PnL after redeeming the Trial Fund is: 100 - 80 = 20 USDT.If the user's cumulative realized PnL after receiving the Trial Fund is sufficient to cover the current loss, the Trial Fund will not be used for offsetting.
-
Validity Period
Trial Funds have a validity period for use. See the Trial Fund details in [Futures Account] for the validity period. If not used within that period, they will expire.
Recovery Upon Invalidation
-
Recovery Upon Expiration
Trial Funds must be redeemed and used within the validity period; after the validity period they will expire and be recovered by the system.
When your Trial Funds expire, the system will recover them without affecting your position risk. The following examples illustrate this process:
Example 1: Suppose a position's initial margin is 210 USDT, including 60 USDT in Trial Funds. If your account has no other available funds when the Trial Funds expire:
The system will not recover the expired Trial Funds immediately. After the position is closed, the system will reassess whether recovery is necessary.Example 2: Suppose a position's initial margin is 210 USDT, including 60 USDT in Trial Funds. If your account has sufficient available funds when the Trial Funds expire:
The system will recover the expired Trial Funds. To ensure the position risk remains unchanged and to avoid liquidation risk, an equivalent amount of funds from your account will be automatically used as position margin.
-
Recovery Upon Transfer
Transferring out USDT funds will result in the removal of Trial Funds in the account. Transfers in other cryptocurrencies will not affect it. The system will alert users with a popup when they attempt to transfer.
Example 1: User A has 20 USDT Trial Funds in their Perpetual Futures Account. If User A transfers 0.1 USDT to Standard Futures Account or Spot Account from Perpetual Futures Account, the entire Trial Funds will be removed.Example 2: A user has 20 USDT in Trial Funds in their Standard Futures Account. If the user transfers 0.1 ETH from the Standard Futures Account to the Fund Account, the 20 USDT Trial Funds in the Standard Futures Account will not be affected.
-
Recovery Upon Withdrawal
Withdrawal or internal transfer (to another BingX account) of any cryptocurrency will result in the removal of the Trial Fund in all accounts.
Example 1: A user has 10 USDT in Trial Funds in their Perpetual Futures Account and 5 USDT in Trial Funds in their Standard Futures Account. If the user internally transfers out 0.5 ETH, the Trial Funds in both the Perpetual Futures Account and the Standard Futures Account will be recovered.
-
Recovery Due to Risk Control
If Trial Funds are recovered by the risk control system due to malicious misuse or rule violations, they will become invalid.
V. Additional Notes
If the removal of remaining Trial Funds will result in auto-deleveraging (forced liquidation) or insufficient maintenance margin for positions, you need to close your open positions before transfer or withdrawal.
- Trading volume generated by Trial Funds is not eligible for commission rebates on fees.
- Starting 2023-08-01, BingX Trial Funds cannot be transferred between different futures accounts.
- Starting 2024-12-17, the BingX Trial Fund offset rules were adjusted. For details, see Adjustments to Futures Trial Fund Offset Rules
