1) What is a CFD

A CFD is a derivative financial product that lets you profit only from changes in an asset's price without holding the underlying asset.

Core logic: go long or short, profit both ways

  • Bullish on an asset → open a long position (Buy) → profit when the price rises
  • Bearish on an asset → open a short position (Sell) → profit when the price falls

3) What are the highlights of BingX CFD

  • Pricing unit: USDx (USDT converted at a 1:1 ratio)
  • Asset mode: Cross margin mode, where your account balance shares the risk of all positions.
  • Order types: Market orders, trigger orders.
  • Hedging rules: Long and short positions in the same asset can be hedged, with margin occupied only for the net exposure.
  • Liquidation: Triggered when the margin ratio falls below 50%.
  • Swap fee: Charged or credited when a position is held across the daily settlement time.
  • Margin for pending orders: Pending orders do not use margin. Margin is only required once the orders are filled.
