Despite the sell-off, spot net outflows of about $447,880 on June 5 and a positive 0.0395% funding rate pointed to lingering long bias and cautious positioning.

Veteran trader Peter Brandt said XRP, alongside Solana and Ethereum, is among the strongest candidates to gain broad adoption for transactional use. Separately, XRPL averaged 2.48 million daily transactions in Q1 2026 while XRP ended the quarter at $1.34, down 27.1%, even as RLUSD and tokenized RWAs on the network expanded.
