Crypto liquidations hit $450M in 24 hours as Bitcoin and Ethereum drive the rout

ChainCatcher reports that Coinglass data show $450 million in total crypto-market liquidations over the past 24 hours. Long positions accounted for $401 million, while shorts made up $48.51 million. By asset, Bitcoin saw $169 million in long liquidations and $13.98 million in shorts, while Ethereum recorded $112 million in long liquidations and $13.28 million in shorts. In total, 123,553 users were liquidated globally during the period. The largest single liquidation was a $3.97 million BTCUSD position on Hyperliquid.
