U.S. Dollar Index slips 0.69% to 98.958 on March 24
ChainCatcher reported that, citing Finviz, the U.S. Dollar Index (DXY)—which tracks the dollar against six major currencies—fell 0.69% on March 24, ending late forex trading at 98.958.
In currency markets, the euro rose to $1.1607 from $1.1559 in the previous session, while sterling advanced to $1.3425 from $1.3337. The dollar eased to 158.45 yen from 159.22, and slipped to 0.7865 Swiss francs from 0.7885. Against the Canadian dollar, the greenback edged up to 1.3719 from 1.3707. The dollar weakened versus the Swedish krona, trading at 9.3095 from 9.3594.
