CoreWeave signs multiyear, multibillion-dollar AI cloud deal with Hudson River Trading
CoreWeave has signed a multibillion-dollar AI agreement with Hudson River Trading, further strengthening its cloud infrastructure business. The company said its Q2 revenue backlog rose to $104.2 billion, and it added more than $25 billion in additional commitments early in Q3. Revenue rose 112% year over year to $2.575 billion, beating expectations, while adjusted loss per share narrowed to $1.03. Adjusted EBITDA reached $1.5 billion, for a 59% margin.

Foreign investors buy ₹1,593.53 crore of Indian equities in second straight session
Foreign institutional investors were net buyers of Indian equities for a second consecutive session on Tuesday, with net purchases of ₹1,593.53 crore. Domestic institutional investors also stayed on the buying side, recording net purchases of ₹230.26 crore. Nifty ended the August series 1.5% higher at a two-week high after a sharp late-session rebound. Shriram Finance, IndiGo, Vodafone Idea, Paytm and IREDA rose, while Federal Bank slipped 3% on acquisition talk.

US stocks edge higher as WTI drops more than 3% and 10-year yield slips to 4.65%

U.S. tariff threat tightens copper availability as LME three-month tests $14,343 a ton
A potential U.S. import tariff is reshaping the copper market by pulling metal into the United States and tightening availability elsewhere. LME three-month copper rose as high as $14,343 per metric ton on Tuesday after 65,400 tons were ordered for withdrawal from LME warehouses in recent days. Traders have been arbitraging a higher COMEX premium by moving copper into the U.S., pushing COMEX inventories to a record 675,185 tons after 46 straight days of increases. Glencore’s CEO said copper shipped into the U.S. is unlikely to be exported again because of the costs, leaving what had been expected to be a surplus market looking far tighter in practice.
