Strive Buys 469 More BTC, Lifts Total Holdings to 25,000
Strive has expanded its Bitcoin treasury to 25,000 BTC after buying an additional 469 coins last week. The purchase totaled $36.6 million, implying an average entry price just under $78,000 per Bitcoin. At current market levels, the company's stash is worth about $1.95 billion, reinforcing Strive's standing among the largest publicly traded corporate holders of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin last traded at $78,612.74, up 1.98% over the prior 24 hours, though it remained down 0.80% on the week.
Preferred stock fuels the strategy
CEO Matt Cole said SATA was the only source of capital raised during the most recent week. Strive also noted that its perpetual preferred stock has recently exceeded $1 billion in notional value outstanding. The company's amplification ratio rose to 53.5%, a metric that compares preferred equity and debt obligations against the value of Strive's Bitcoin holdings. Strive continues to use capital markets tools to scale its treasury strategy.
Ranking fifth, aiming higher
Strive ranks fifth among public companies holding Bitcoin, behind Strategy, Twenty One, Metaplanet, and MARA. The latest buy was smaller than the prior week's 1,375 BTC addition. To move ahead of Twenty One, Strive would need another 18,515 BTC. With 15 full weeks left in the year, that would require acquisitions of roughly 1,234 BTC per week, assuming the competitor's holdings remain unchanged.
