GE Vernova T&D India will hold its annual general meeting on Sept. 9 and has confirmed a final dividend of ₹10 per equity share, equivalent to 500% on a ₹2 face value. The company reported a year-on-year increase in total revenue to ₹18,779.8 million for the quarter. Under applicable rules, resident shareholders with dividend income above ₹10,000 and a valid PAN face 10% TDS, while those without a valid PAN are subject to 20%.

Swiss sportswear brand On reported second-quarter net revenue of 850.3 million Swiss francs, below market expectations of 878.16 million Swiss francs, sending the stock to a roughly two-year low. The company raised its full-year gross margin outlook to at least 65%. It also adjusted its full-year net sales forecast range at constant currency to 3.47 billion to 3.56 billion Swiss francs. Asia-Pacific sales rose 54.7%, but the overall miss weighed on the shares.

U.S. consumer prices rose 3.4% in July from a year earlier, easing from 3.5% in June, Labor Department data show. Core inflation, which excludes food and energy, was 2.5% year over year, also lower than the prior reading. Energy prices fell 1.5% on the month, though gasoline remained up 24.5% from a year earlier and fuel oil rose more than 39%. Food and medical services costs each increased 2.7% year over year.

The USDA’s August Crop Production report raised U.S. cotton planted area by 0.62 million acres to 10.47 million, while trimming the production outlook by 90,000 bales to 13.61 million. Markets focused on the prospect of higher supply, and ICE cotton futures fell 60–70 points on Wednesday, according to the USDA report. The U.S. dollar index edged higher and crude oil prices were little changed. New-crop ending stocks were cut by 100,000 bales to 4 million, while U.S. spot sales totaled 517 bales at an average price of 75.24 cents.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture projected corn yield at 180.7 bushels per acre in its Crop Production and WASDE reports, below market expectations. The agency also raised planted acreage by 1.4 million acres to 96.7 million and harvested acreage by 1.2 million to 88.6 million. Production was estimated at 16.013 billion bushels, up 13 million bushels from the July WASDE figure but nearly 80 million bushels above the market’s average estimate. Robinhood’s event-contracts revenue surged more than tenfold year over year to $156 million, surpassing crypto revenue for the first time. Iceland’s Kvika Bank reported Q2 2026 profit before tax of ISK 1,545 million, down 23.7% year on year. Post-tax profit fell 37.2% to ISK 903 million. Net interest income rose 1.7% to ISK 3,013 million and the net interest margin was unchanged at 4.0%. Net fee and commission income slid 26.8% to ISK 1,416 million, weighing on results.

Brookfield India Real Estate Trust posted a 67% year-on-year rise in net profit to ₹2,213 million for Q1FY26. Revenue climbed 51% to ₹9,738 million, while operating margin edged up to 73.28% from 72.31%. Net operating income increased 52% to ₹7,566 million as occupancy improved to 93%, supported by 1.1 million square feet of gross leasing. Finance costs rose to ₹3,378 million on acquisition-related debt, and the trust declared a ₹0.93 per-unit dividend.
