Wells Fargo Raises Spot Ethereum ETF Holdings in Q1 2026 as JPMorgan Plans JLTXX Fund
Wells Fargo increased its spot Ethereum ETF exposure in Q1 2026, lifting iShares Ethereum Trust holdings from about 672,600 shares in Q4 2025 to nearly 1.1 million, while also growing its Bitwise Ethereum ETF position to around 257,000 shares. Separately, JPMorgan Chase filed to launch a tokenized money market fund on Ethereum under the ticker JLTXX, designed to hold U.S. Treasurys and overnight repo backed by Treasurys and cash.

BlackRock's IBIT Drives $70.47M Bitcoin ETF Outflow as Redemptions Hit Day Four
On Wednesday, spot bitcoin ETFs posted $70.47M in net outflows, marking a fourth straight session of redemptions led by BlackRock's IBIT at $61.45M. Ether ETFs also stayed negative, losing $28.14M for an eighth consecutive day, while XRP ETFs logged a small $1.45M inflow and Solana ETF flows were flat. Despite withdrawals, trading remained active with $1.36B traded in bitcoin ETFs and $350.41M in ether ETFs.

Harvard trims IBIT stake 43% and exits BlackRock spot Ethereum ETF by March 31
Harvard University reduced its iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) holdings to 3.04 million shares valued at about $117 million as of March 31, a 43% cut from 5.35 million at the end of 2025. It also fully sold its BlackRock spot Ethereum ETF position worth roughly $86.8 million after holding it for one quarter. Over the same period, Abu Dhabi's Mubadala increased IBIT to 14.7 million shares, while the Abu Dhabi Investment Council kept 8.2 million shares.
