Qualcomm shares slide 38% from 2026 high as analysts turn more positive
Qualcomm shares have fallen about 38% from their year-to-date high, while the company reported fiscal third-quarter revenue down 4% year over year to $9.9 billion and a 20% drop in handset revenue. The company now expects non-handset QCT revenue to exceed $40 billion by fiscal 2029, nearly doubling its previous $22 billion goal, with automotive and IoT contributing more than $24 billion and data centers over $15 billion. Management also projects data center revenue of about $5 billion in fiscal 2027. Analyst sentiment has improved in recent months.

3M India FY26 revenue rises 14.5% to ₹5,089.8 crore, net profit up 9.7%
3M India reported FY26 revenue of ₹5,089.8 crore, up 14.5% year on year, and net profit of ₹522.3 crore, a 9.7% increase. Pretax profit (after exceptional items) rose 15.6%. All four business segments posted double-digit growth, led by Healthcare at 17.5%. The board recommended a dividend of ₹506 per equity share, which the new chairman and managing director addressed at the annual general meeting.

Sugar slides as India’s duty-free 1 million tons import move cools demand expectations
India’s government said it will allow 1 million tons of duty-free sugar imports and let refiners sell some processed sugar domestically instead of exporting it, tempering expectations that the country will need to buy as much from abroad. New York raw sugar futures slid as much as 3% to 17.13 cents a pound in intraday trading on Tuesday. London white sugar futures fell as much as 3.9% over the same period.
