Stripe’s stablecoin unit Bridge secures MiCA authorization in Luxembourg, enabling EU-wide operations
Bridge, Stripe’s stablecoin infrastructure subsidiary, has been added to ESMA’s European cryptoasset register after receiving a MiCA CryptoAsset Service Provider authorization and an Electronic Money Institution license in Luxembourg. Under the EU’s passporting framework, the approvals allow Bridge to operate across all 27 member states. Stripe bought Bridge in 2024 for $1.1 billion, and the licensing marks a move to fully regulated stablecoin operations in Europe.

Chainlink joins Hong Kong tokenized securities framework using CCIP and ERC-3643
Chainlink has joined Hong Kong’s Tokenized Securities Framework (TSF) alongside FORMS HK, Apex Group, CSpro and Cyberport, using CCIP and an automated compliance engine to support tokenized securities across their lifecycle. The framework is designed to enable compliant issuance, settlement and cross-chain movement of tokenized securities under existing rules. Separately, BitGo migrated more than $7.7 billion of WBTC to CCIP, pushing total value moved through CCIP above $16 billion, according to the summary provided.

Alphabet’s multi-tranche bond sale puts investor demand for AI-linked debt to the test
