Triveni says domestic sugar prices will stay firm in the short term as stocks tighten
Triveni Engineering said its Q1 FY27 sugar sales rose 7.4% year on year to 27.7 lakh tonnes, with average realisation increasing to ₹41,525/tonne. The company said exports of 0.7 million tonnes and diversion of 3 million tonnes of sugar toward ethanol in the October 2025–September 2026 sugar season are expected to push India’s sugar stocks down to 4.1 million tonnes by end-September 2026, a 10-year low. The tighter supply-demand balance is supporting firmer domestic sugar prices in the near term, it said.

Worldline trims 2026 revenue growth outlook to flat to marginally positive as bank contract decisions slip
Worldline now expects flat to marginally positive revenue growth in 2026, cutting its previous forecast for low single-digit growth. Universal Music Group posts €3,294 million Q2 2026 revenue, up 10.5% year on year
Universal Music Group (UMG) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of €3,294 million, up 10.5% year on year, or 13.3% in constant currency. The company said the increase was supported by the consolidation of Downtown Music Holdings, pricing benefits from Streaming 2.0 agreements, and strong physical, licensing and other sales. For the first half of 2026, revenue rose to €6,194 million, up 5.3% year on year, or 10.8% in constant currency. Adjusted EBITDA for Q2 2026 was €674 million, down 0.3% year on year, while the adjusted EBITDA margin fell 2.2pp to 20.5%.
