The Lufthansa Group has exercised purchase options for an additional 20 Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft, with deliveries expected in the early 2030s. CAE reported fiscal 2027 first-quarter results showing defence revenue rose 8.3% year over year to $531.8 million and adjusted defence operating income increased 9.1% to $50.5 million, with a defence backlog of about $10.7 billion. Delta Air Lines plans to lift its daily flight volume at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to more than 200 at the peak of summer 2027, serving nearly 70 destinations. The carrier says it will be LAX’s largest airline by flights, seats and premium seats during summer 2027. Delta also announced new routes to Monterey and Philadelphia, and plans to increase service on the Raleigh-Durham route. The airline previously invested $2.3 billion in its Sky Way project connecting Terminals 2 and 3.

Brent crude fell for a third straight session, down more than 1.3% to around $103 a barrel, though it stayed above $100.
